Here are some amazing Vegan Face Masks you cannot resist:
1. Oatmeal Face Mask: Restore natural moisture and help restore scars.
1 tbsp. Rolled or whole oats
½ tbsp. Unsweetened coconut milk/almond milk
½ tbsp. raw apple cider vinegar
The Magic- Grind oats in a mixer until coarse such that no big chunks are left. Add coconut milk and apple cider vinegar, mix well. Apply to face and neck. Keep it for 10-15 minutes. Wet hands and remove it by rubbing in the upwards direction, this acts as a scrub as well. Rinse thoroughly. Apply three times a week for excellent results. Enjoy your baby skin!
2. Rice Face Mask: Moisturize, Rejuvenates and Clear the skin.
1 tbsp. Rice flour (or 1 tbsp. Rice and ½ cup water)
½ tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. coconut or almond milk
The Magic- Mix Rice flour, lemon juice and coconut/almond milk in the form of a paste. You can either grind dry rice grains or boil 1 tbsp of dry rice in water and blend to form a thick paste. Mix the remaining ingredients. Apply to face and neck for 10-15 minutes. With wet hands, give a light massage when rinsing. Use this pack three times a week for brightened and clear skin.
3. Cocoa Avocado Face Mask: Restore natural Moisture and Cleanse skin.
1 tbsp. mashed Avocado
½ tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp Agave nectar
The Magic- Mix all the ingredients to form a smooth paste. Apply to the face and neck. Keep it for 10-15 minutes or until dry. Rinse thoroughly. For best results apply three times a week.
4. Agar-Agar Peel off Mask: Removes dead skin cells and brings up Natural Glow in skin.
1 tbsp. agar-agar powder
1 capsule (3/4 tbsp.) activated charcoal powder
½ cup water
The Magic – In a glass bowl, mix agar-agar powder and activated charcoal powder. To this, add boiling water. Mix well to form a smooth paste. Let it cool a bit. Check for heat tolerance and apply all over the face, avoiding the area around the eyes. Keep it for 10-15 minutes or until dry. Once dried, peel off the mask. Follow up with aloe-vera gel or a light moisturizer.
5. Banana turmeric Face Mask – Revives Dry and Dull skin.
2 tbsp. mashed ripe banana
1 tbsp. Baking powder
½ tbsp. turmeric powder
The Magic – Add turmeric powder and baking powder to the mashed banana. Blend all to form a paste. Apply this to all over the face avoiding delicate areas around eyes. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Use 2-3 times a week. Feel the new you.
6. Cucumber Face Mask – Rejuvenates and Revives the skin.
2 tbsp grated cucumber
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 freshly crushed mint leaves
The Magic – Mix crushed cucumber, lemon juice and mint leaves in the form of a paste. Apply all over the face and neck. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and let it penetrate and hydrate the skin. After 15 minutes, rinse it off. Apply whenever you need a quick rejuvenation and feel refreshed with mint!
7. Papaya Face mask – Glowing and Brighter Skin.
2 tbsp. Mashed ripe papaya
½ tbsp. Lemon juice
¾ tbsp. almond/ coconut milk
The Magic – Add lemon juice and coconut milk to mashed papaya. Blend to form a smooth paste. Apply the paste all over the face, avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave it for 10-15 minutes. Remove by rubbing and giving a light massage with lukewarm water. Follow up with a smooth layer of coconut oil.
8. Potato Face Mask – Get rid of spots, blemishes, and marks.
2 tbsp. Potato juice
2 tbsp. cucumber juice
1 tbsp. Lemon juice
¼ tbsp. turmeric
The Magic – Mix all the ingredients to form a thin paste. Apply a layer of this paste all over the face. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cold water. For best results, apply three times a week. Cherish the new you!
